A "Tree-mendous" start to our "Sticks to Branches" Campaign in 2022. THANK YOU!

THANK YOU so much for playing your part in helping plant OVER 1,000 TREES in 2022, our first year of the campaign! That's enough to offset driving OVER 16 TIMES around the world in a family sized car!!! I know! I was pretty amazed too! What a tree-mendous start!

You can see full details on the newly created “Sticks to Branches” page of the website, but in short 2 trees are planted for each lesson given (one on your behalf, one for my family) in partnership with the wonderful folks at Replant.ca the reforestation experts based on the East Coast of Canada.

Fingers crossed we can build on this success this year and continue to play our part in fighting Climate Change together.

"From Sticks to Branches!" (Tree planting update)

We are now 3 months into our new “Sticks to Branches” program (where for each drum lesson I give we plant 2 trees via Replant.ca, one from you and one from my family!) and the great news is we’ve already paid for 254 trees to be planted!

That captures enough Carbon to drive the round trip of 12,200km from Cochrane, Alberta to St Johns, Newfoundland and back THIRTEEN TIMES OVER!!!!*

Thank you SO much for helping to fight Climate Change, it's truly heartwarming to see we can make a real difference together! I’ll keep you updated on progress across the year.

(* If you too are a bit of a nerd, go check out the math at https://treecanada.ca/.../grow-clean-air/carbon-calculator/ they use very conservative estimates for carbon capture, so in reality our impact will probably be higher over time)
